My friends and I went to Brazi's for dinner this evening and I already can't wait to go back. The food was excellent, I ordered the risotto al mare and wow the portion was huge! The bowl was filled with seafood and the marinara sauce was very good. I also like that each meal comes with a soup or salad and bread for the table. You see less places doing that and I appreciate the ones that still do. The service was also excellent. The restaurant was busy and we were seated in the bar area. Our server had several tables plus he was making drinks but was still so attentive to us. He was also friendly and joked around which made for a relaxing environment and meal. I look forward to returning and trying other menu items!

Haven’t been since 2020 but the food was phenomenal! Combination platter was perfect for a trying a little of everything. If i recall it had lasagna, eggplant, tortellini, and ravioli. Everything was delicious including their own version of lemoncello. We loved it so much we purchased a few bottles to take back home. I do not recall the name of the seafood linguini dish but it was amazing!

I stopped by later Thursday evening for take out. I was in work clothes, so I didn't want to dine-in. Service was quick for take out. Great veal parmigiana and linguini with marinara. Fair price and friendly service! Definitely check this out!

Great Italian old school food. If you are looking for the real deal. Definitely this is the place. The food was great, although it’s a spacious restaurant- make reservations it’s always packed no matter what day of the week. The service is great, all waiters are friendly attentive and management meets and greets you with a smile. I most definitely recommend if you want to experience the real deal of an authentic Italian food or experience. Also, more than 20 years with superb consistent service. Amazing !

**Review of Brazi's Italian Restaurant** (10/10) While traveling down I-95 from Boston to New York City, my travel companions and I found ourselves caught in a snowstorm, and amidst the chaos, we stumbled upon a true hidden gem: Brazi’s Italian Restaurant in Connecticut. From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted by the friendly and welcoming staff, setting the perfect tone for what would become an unforgettable dining experience. The decor of the restaurant struck a beautiful balance between rustic charm and modern elegance, making it a cozy retreat from the storm outside. Now, let’s talk about the food. We started our meal with the giant Cioppino Amalfitana, a seafood stew that could easily serve 2-3 people. The dish was beautifully presented, and the fra diavolo sauce was a standout—cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of spice to enhance the fresh flavors without overwhelming them. It was rich and flavorful, leaving us craving more with every bite. Following the Cioppino, we indulged in the Margherita pizza, which was nothing short of heavenly. The crust was perfectly baked, and the fresh ingredients created a taste sensation that we would gladly return for time and time again. We thought we couldn’t possibly eat another bite, but the allure of the apple tart with homemade ice cream was too tempting to resist. It was light, fresh, and the ice cream was exquisite—creamy and delightful, with that homemade quality that’s hard to find. Each forkful felt like a comforting embrace. With all this culinary delight, it’s worth noting that the prices were refreshingly affordable, making this exceptional dining experience accessible to all. A special shout-out to our server, Madeleine, who was attentive and friendly, enhancing our experience with her warm demeanor. In a world where finding authentic, high-quality dining experiences can be a challenge , Brazi’s Italian Restaurant stands out as a beacon of hope. They have certainly gained lifelong customers in us. If I could give them ten stars, I would! If you ever find yourself in Connecticut, especially during a snowstorm, make sure to stop by Brazi's. You won't regret it!!!

We had the most amazing experience at Brazi’s! It was our first time dining here, and from the moment we walked in, we felt so welcomed. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. I went with my husband and both of our kids, and we all absolutely loved it. The menu has such a great selection, and everything we ordered was beyond delicious. The portions are huge, you definitely get your money’s worth! What really stood out to us was how homey and comfortable the whole experience was. It’s not just a place to eat it’s a place where you feel like family. The service was excellent, and they made sure we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for amazing food, generous portions, and a welcoming atmosphere, Brazi’s is the place to go. We’ll definitely be back soon! Highly recommend to anyone in the New Haven area! Our new favorite spot !!!!

This place is insane! The combination of prices, portion size and complementary extras makes Brazi's the best deal this side of the Arno. The polenta with Bolognese appetizer special was made with the best polenta and the best Bolognese I’ve had, and I’ve had a lot! Also, the fried calamari first course puts to shame every other restaurant calamari I've had. Both were portion-sized. A shrimp picatta risotto special worked well; though my reservations about a mushroom-Gorgonzola chicken special were well founded. Presented beautifully, with three chicken breasts, it combined mushrooms and Gorgonzola; so... A creamy pistachio-vanilla cocktail shouldn't have been ordered as an aperitif; but despite having let me order it, Marissa's service was wonderfully attentive and informed.

Such a great seafood restaurant! I love the mozzarella appetizer! Shrimp & clam pescatore tastes awesome, the shrimps are really big! The seafood pizza is an absolute must have, this is my first seafood pizza, I will definitely come back for this. Clean and quiet environment, it takes a while for the food to come, but definitely worth the time. By the way, thank you to our waiter Alex, you are very helpful, nice service!
